Terms & Conditions

In an instance where the customer wants to cancel a booking, they should inform Ceylon Holidays by the group leader over a booking form. The cancelation will be in effect as per the date received by Ceylon Holidays. The conditions are as follows.

  • 21 days or more before check-in - No Charge
  • 18-20 days before check-in - 40 % of the total value
  • 15-17 days before check-in - 60% of the total value
  • 14 days or less before check-in - 100% of the total value

Ceylon Holidays has the right to cancel any booking which has been confirmed under any circumstance. This doesn’t mean Ceylon Holidays will cancel a booking that has been a Guaranteed Departure except in a circumstance mentioned as force majeure, defined here as war, the threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, flight cancellation or any other external circumstances beyond the control of Ceylon Holidays. Compensation will not be available if Ceylon Holidays is forced to cancel or in any way change a tour due to force majeure where Ceylon Holidays is unable to provide the tour booked. Ceylon Holidays will not hold the responsibility to deliver any service or be liable for any service for an already booked package and is not liable to refund or compensate the customer.
